Tuo Lounge
Löydät TUO Loungen EduCityn toisesta kerroksesta 2069 Kahvio -tilasta. Loungeen voit tulla esimerkiksi luentojen välissä tai ruokatauolla pelaamaan biljardia, juomaan rauhassa kupin kuumaa tai vaikka haastamaan kaverin änärissä. TUO Loungesta löydät myös opiskelijakunnan henkilöstöä, jotka auttavat esimerkiksi opiskelun ongelmatilanteisiin ja jäsenyyteen liittyvissä asioissa.
At TUO Lounge, you can buy various products, such as overall brands, shot glasses and water bottles. You can also buy a TUAS hoodie, college or t-shirt in the TUO Lounge. TUAS brand products also on sale online store.
TUO Lounge is worth stopping by, you may be surprised by various discounts and campaigns!

Events
The student union TUO organizes numerous different student events every year. Among other things, the legendary Keltanokka in the fall, in which more than 1,000 students participate, and Satuolentobileet, where you can release your inner fairytale creature. In the spring we go to the nearby municipalities of Turku by bus on Landerundi
Members of the student union get tickets to all TUO's events at a reduced price. In addition, members are often taken into account in various other ways at events.
As a member of TUO, you also get a discount on OPKU+ events in several cities. So it's worth looking at what events are available in Helsinki or Jyväskylä to name a few.

Lending service
Student union TUO offers various supplies to borrow, e.g. for evening partiess or student life situations. You can borrow, for example, board and outdoor games, thermoses, a coffee maker, a kettle and just about anything else.
You can inquire about loanable supplies from the address tuo@opiskelijakunta.net. Borrowed accessories can be picked up from the TUO Lounge and returned there. You can also suggest new loanable products to us at the same address.
Legal aid and advice
Various legal issues and problems are related to many very mundane matterssuch as the purchase of a computer or other goods, the conclusion and termination of both a lease and an employment contract. There are numerous examples of this. Many, especially students, may be offered unreasonable rental terms illegally (for example, the law on renting a residential apartment stipulates that a guaranteed rent may not be agreed to be equivalent to more than three months’ rent). Similarly, students unfortunately often come across employment contracts whose terms may not be quite in line with the law.
Turun yliopiston oikeustieteellisen tiedekunnan ainejärjestö Lex ry:n ylläpitämä oikeusapujaosto tarjoaa maksutonta lakineuvontaa kaikille Turun yliopiston ylioppilaskunnan, Åbo Akademis Studentkårin sekä opiskelijakunta TUOn jäsenille ympäri vuoden. Oikeusapujaosto tarjoaa apua nyt myös rikosasioissa.
Oikeusapujaosto koostuu oikeustieteen opiskelijoista. Oikeusapujaosto on sitoutunut auttamaan kaikkia opiskelijoita parhaalla mahdollisella tavalla – parhaan kykynsä ja ammattitaitonsa mukaan.

All cases and customer information are confidential. When contacting the commission, list the details of your case as well as possible: what exactly has happened and when and what is on your mind about it. We will ask for more information if necessary. Please also remember that the Legal Aid Commission does not provide criminal or tax legal advice or draw up documents, even indirectly.
Where is the division on duty?
Jaosto päivystää TYYn toimiston viereisessä kokoustila Virtasessa aina keskiviikkoisin klo 18-20. Jaosto palvelee suomen, ruotsin ja englannin kielellä. Jaosto jää lomalle 17.12. päivän päivystyksen jälkeen.
